Kruger National Park is a beautiful place to visit. The largest land area covers over 500,000 hectares and is largest in South-east Africa. This safari at Kruger is a unique experience you won't forget anytime soon. Kruger has more than 300 animal species.
There are five major attraction: leopards, elephants, Cape buffalo and rhinos. The Park offers daytime and night safaris. A safari tour can be booked customised to your needs or a sightseeing trip to the local area. You can stay here for three days to see the game drives offered by the site.
04. The Garden Route
The Golden Way runs along the South African South coast. This might stifle most other road trips to the world in scenic beauty. Approximately 200 km of the scenic route runs between Mossel Bay and Storms River. Driving on the Golden Route will take you nowhere unless it gives you all the charm it has.
It's worth going through it for a couple more days. Visit the charming village of Knysna and surrounding area, the ostrich farms at Oudtshoorn, the sandstone caves, Plettenberg Bay. Knysna reserves are the perfect location for interaction and a close encounter with elephants.

05. Boulders Penguin Colony, Simon's Town, Western Cape
If you like penguins, you should visit Simon's Town about ten minutes south-west of Cape Town. There are three nice beaches where Boulder Penguin colonies can be found. The endangered African penguins are about 2000 years old and the colonies are populated by charismatic black and whites.
You can watch the birds lounge on the beach and surrounding granite boulders, and take a dip on the beach. The water is quite calm and the boulders protect it against wind and current, making it an excellent swim spot when you have the cold water to contend with.

06. Blyde River Canyon & Panorama Route
Blyde River Canyon is a stunning landscaped place in South Africa. It is arguably the biggest canyon in the entire globe. As well as being close to many of the main entrances of Kruger National Park, the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve and the entire panoramic route offer an extremely popular day trip to the region.

It's a short walk from Cape Town, so you can easily visit even in the absence of any time limit. Stellenbosch and Paarl are more large towns.
I don't know if these are worth a visit, but nearby vineyards and surrounding landscapes should be admired. The small, picturesque Franschhoek town is beautiful with white buildings, hilltop views and cosy atmosphere. It is an impressive place. TIP: Avoid drinking while driving.

09. Golden Gate Highlands National Park
It was founded in 1963 and covers a vast 18.5 square miles. It is an impressive red and gold Cliff Park which boasts a large number of fascinating animals. National Parks are famous for virgin natural beauty and for their adventure activities, dinosaur fossils and rich culture.

12. iSimangaliso Wetland Park, KwaZulu-Natal
IMinggali is a word translated into Zula meaning'miraculous'. It is an appropriate name for World Heritage Site, the largest Estuarine System in Africa.. Originally the Grand St Lucia Wetland Park was located near Kwazulu Natal on the northeastern coast and connects nine ecosystems including coral reefs, croc-filled rivers, lakes and towers.

Alternatively, you may want to do the quick trip to the place. The vast grassland and the artificial lakes of Mankwe Dam have created an excellent area for wildlife to live and work in.

16. Addo Elephant National Park, Eastern Cape
The world's third largest national park, Addo Elephant National Park, was established in 1931 to save the last 11 wild elephants in its area from extinct. The Eastern Cape is situated about 74km northwest of Port Elizabeth and hosts over 600 African elephants.
The ecosystem extends from Karoo to the coastline, making its visitors interesting. Apart from elephant population the park has large breeding populations of African penguin and Capegannet.

17. Cape Agulhas – Southernmost Tip Of Africa
Cape Agulhas, the Southernmost place in Africa stands far from all other sights of South Africa and major tourism routes that are ignored. It's an amazing place! When we stand at the edge of the ocean, you truly feel like we have reached our final destination.
The most convenient way to visit Cape Agulhas would be to stop here while traveling from Cape Town to Garden Trails. We had done this one day just to stop at Knysna in Cape Town but it was a very long trip. TIP: If you want to stay a few nights at Cape Agulhas, I would suggest you take a short drive.

18. West Coast National Park
The West Coast National Park is a popular attraction for local residents and you should visit during the summer to enjoy its activities and if you come in the warmer months. This is renowned for its beautiful beaches and beautiful coastline and beautiful hikes.
Spring time from August to September is the most beautiful season and might get more traffic. West Coast National Park has a real gem. The city is not a must visit in South Africa for a short time, but you must definitely see it. TIP: We don't have many buildings here.

19. Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park
There'd be no shortage of safaris to Africa, eh? I highly recommend taking a day trip to Hluhluwe IMFolozi Park. These are not as famous as Kruger or any of the other Nationalparks mentioned earlier, but they are equally stunning and have amazing nature views.
There are African Big 5 living on the land, along with a great variety of animals. TIP: It is possible to tour the park either by car or guided safari tours from Durban. You may also decide on a tour combining Simangaliso Wetlands and Hluhluwe mentioned above.
20. Soweto & the Mandela Museum
It contains several historical items, including memorabilium artwork and photographic images from Mandela's family. In addition, there is a range of Nelson Mandela doctorates at universities and foundations throughout the world.
A new boxers belt has been released by Sugar Ray Leonard, which has a multi - shrouded cover which was introduced to his predecessors and his old boots. The matchbox home at 8115 Ngakanese Street was Mandelas first home.

21. Wild Coast, Eastern Cape
Almost all of South Africa's beautiful coastline lies on East London and Chintsa in Eastern Cape. It is nicknamed "The Wild Coast" because of the beauty of the landscape. The ancestral home of the Xhosa people, whose village still covers the hillsides, the region was an area of Transkei during the apartheid period and one of the four territories to be officially independent. Following apartheid, the country was incorporated in the East Cape in 1994.

24. Madikwe Game Reserve, North West Province
Madikwe Game Reserve is less well-known and crowded compared to most South Africa's top parks. It lies near the Kalahari Desert and offers spectacular scenery. The city has plenty of flora and fauna.
The fifth biggest reserve in Southern Africa lies only three hours drive from Johannesburg. There's an extensive safari lodge within the fence spanning from midrange to ultraluxuries such as Jamala Mudikwe. The five have all offered the opportunity to view wild animals, such as wild dogs.

25. Kragga Kamma Game Park

26. Umgeni River Bird Park

27. South African National Museum of Military History
The South African National Museum Military history was officially inaugurated on September 28, 1947 in the presence of Deputy Premier Jan Smut. It is dedicated to protecting South African history of its involvement during World War 2. In 1975, it started storing all South African conflicts there.
It contains 37 distinct sections and contains nearly 44,000 objects. Among the many interesting items at the museum are an armoured combat vehicle, small weapon graves and memorials, knife-wielding weapon and medals and barracks or camp tools.

28. Cape Recife Nature Reserve
The vast park is spread over 366 ha and contains natural forests, beautiful beaches, stunning rocky outcrops, and a 130-year-old lighthouse. It's also home to a 9km walkable route. Guests have access to an ancient hunting area and to an old military viewing platform for bird watching.
