01. Bali – An Indonesian Paradise
'Indonesia' is a paradise described as Bali. Bali is part of neighbouring Indonesia and only 3 hours flying from Singapore. It is a popular destination for a short trip to Singapore, especially for couples planning a quick six-day vacation in Bali.
The art capital of Ubud, this location captivates visitors with its white beaches contrasted with the crystal clear water. In 3 hours Singapore will be in paradise and have a fantastic weekend.
The beauty of the natural setting for the exotic temples are a major attraction in the town. Volcanoes and jungles also add to this fantastic vacation destination. Some Balians have a lot of tolerance to other Indonesian residents.
It's a popular getaway location in Singapore so there are frequent (and generally low priced) flights to both. Bali is a wonderful place to enjoy a luxury escape or a romantic getaway. The island combines breathtaking views, wide beaches, large mountains and its history and cultural richness.
On the island there are numerous accommodations including affordable hotels and luxury resorts. Big Beachfront Hotel and Luxury Villas usually reside in western cities including Kuta, Seminyak and Jimbaran.
02. Desaru – For A Weekend Getaway

Malaysia beach resort has beautiful beaches and clean, warm waters perfect to make quick vacations. The region offers 4 hotels in a resort-style as well as a wide range of shopping and restaurants to visit.
It's simple and inexpensive to get to Desaro from Singapore. It takes around two hours in a car on Causeways, 90 minutes on a bus and an hour when boarding a ferry. Once you are at your home, there are several shuttles available for free.
03. Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia
It has become a popular holiday destination in Southeast Asia. This place is across the Causeway and is accessible within 20 minutes. It has a huge theme park called Legoland Malaysia Resort.
This massive Resort Complex has a large array of hotels. You can go there alone or you can purchase the same passes for all your services. Iskandar Puteri houses Asias only high-end outlet store Johor Outlets. Several luxury shops sell discounts on the goods.
04. Sentosa Island, Singapore
One of Singapores best beaches has only 15mins monorail ride. Sentosa Island offers numerous beaches, as well as family hotels and luxury getaways, including an aquarium. There's even a way from Sentosa via the Sentosa boardwalk that has automated walking walkways.
The paved boardwalk offers a wide selection of lush tropical gardens that only exist in Singapore. This offers beautiful views over the bay and there are many places to photograph. Sentosa Island is the perfect destination for the entire family. The park also has several other amusement park attractions and water attractions.
05. Batam – A Picturesque Getaway
Batam is a small but picturesque Indonese island for a quick visit. A short visit in Singapore will leave you mesmerised! It offers tranquil beaches and beautiful landscapes, making it an ideal holiday destination in Singapore.
In addition to this, the city is full of lively nightlife. Where to find a place: Jakarta.Best season to visit: June to September. How should I get to the city: Take a boat/sitting ferry to Singapore. Restaurants to Eat: Rezeki Seafood, Piccola Stella, and Harbour Bay Seafood.
06. Bintan – Away From The Hustle-Bustle
Bintan Island, Indonesia
Located on the islands of Indonesia, this is the perfect weekend retreat in Singapore. The islands in Singapore have been seen twice before. Bintan is home to several hotels and beaches which make it an attractive holiday destination. It is also a favorite destination to watch sea turtles; six species worldwide are endemic sea turtles in Indonesia.
Bintan offers tourists the best holiday experiences for all. Spas and shopping include indoor entertainment and a variety of great water activities and outdoor excursions. You will discover a vast variety of wildlife on this island and explore its remarkable cultural history.
This beach is an ideal place to disconnect from the city's hustles and bustles. Among the activities available are bowling, horse-riding and elephant riding. On some islands there are also eco-tour opportunities to explore the beauty of natural surroundings.
Parasailing is one such activity. It is a rich cultural mix that includes Malat, Chinese, Bugis and Orang Laut. Malaysians speak Bahasan and Malaysians speak it.
07. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur is called "KL" by local residents and is known for providing a large range of cultural activities that are characteristic to this large city. Kuala Lumpur can be reached from Singapore by plane in one hour (or five hours by bus).
Apart from Klang's fantastic food and excellent shopping be prepared for two attractions of the highest order. The Petronas Twin Tower is now the tallest twin tower in the world. There is an observation area where one gets spectacular city views.
08. Penang – An Offbeat Destination
If you are planning a short vacation in Singapore then Penang should be a place on your list to visit in Malaysia. Penang has a strong cultural and artistic centre. This vibrant street will impress me.
Moreover, there are a number of other upscale restaurants nearby. Try some of their foods and also make an effort to visit the best Penang beaches such as Batun Ferringhi and Tanjung Bungah. Penang is unquestionably a great destination in the vicinity of Singapore.
09. Da Nang, Vietnam
How should we travel to Vietnam to avoid the crowds at hotspots such as Halong bay and Ho Chi Minh? It is best to visit Da Nang. It offers many sights which cure you wanderlust. It's impossible to forget famous bridges such as the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hill and the Dragon Bridge.
Adding an element of imagination to the typical bridges they create are incredibly impressive and make enchanting photo ops. A coastal city, Da Nang has beaches. Khe Beach and Non Nuoc Beach are easily accessible since neither is near a city centre. Spend an afternoon swimming, surfing or simply relaxing in the warm sun.
10. Hoi An – To Explore The Countryside
It is an extremely beautiful location in Southeast Asia. This is a perfect beach-and-tourism location that provides lots of sun, and a charming French Colonial city that offers a rich countryside. 11. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Why go? Ho-Chi Minh is an ancient capital and the capital is very much in its own right. The city is surrounded by a multitude of restaurants, temples and many other attractions that are spread throughout 25 districts. For historical enthusiasts, add Vietnam War Memorial Museum to your itinerary.
Both houses historic artefacts that show the history of the city. No trip into Vietnam will not include sampling its delicious street food. Take an excursion around District 4 where there will be dozens of vendors. The must-try items are Vietnamese drip coffee, Cha Gia (frying Vietnamese spring roll) & snail.
12. Siem Reap – Opt For Hot Air Balloon Ride
Another place to visit in Singapore is Siem Reap. The trip will take two hours and can take about two hours from the airport. Angkor Wat has no doubt become an organiser of events. Other tourist attractions are Bantee Srei and Angkor Thom.
A fascinating activity here involves the flight of hot air balloons which give an incredible view of Siem Reap. It would be wise for you to avoid these activities. Where: Campion. Best time to visit: January - DecemberHow can one get from Singapore to Siem Reap? It's best to get there by airplane directly to the destination.
13. Krabi – For An Island Getaway
You can travel by plane to a destination in a few hours and then go to an amazing vacation destination! One of the best short trips to Singapore, many activities include snorkeling in Krabi and other activities include swimming, walking, rock climbing, and many interesting activities that make your weekend an unforgettable one.
One can explore beaches like Ko Hong, Ko Poda or Ko Gai or paddle in Andaman. These places offer wonderful getaway spots for everyone from adrenalin junkies to lazy beach people. Everyone had a great time here. Railay was once a paradise for the rock climber.
14. Genting Highlands – For A Complete Experience
Genting Highlands is a resort development in Pahang region. The city also has hotels, restaurants, retail shops such as SkyAvenue Mall and Genting Premium Outlets, casinos, and amusement centers.
It is a top tourist attraction situated on the Titiwang Mountains at 1,770 m. high. Enjoy an enjoyable trip on a cable car. A multitude of leisure activities make Genting Highlands an ideal location close to Singapore.
15. Ipoh – Resonating A Street Culture
Ipoh has been added to our list of top destinations around Singapore because of its importance for minipensang. Malaysia has the best restaurants and cafes in the country with many street food options.
Why is Ipoh so attractive when compared to Penang only a few tourists come here? It's probably the best thing you can do at Ipah. While in Ipoh, visiting the Old Town will be an absolute necessity with crumbly buildings, China Shophouses, street artists, grand colonial buildings and several cool coffee shops.
16. Langkawi, Malaysia
Langkawi is a Malaysian islands that includes 99 islands close to Thailand's border region. Malaysia's Beach Village is just 90 minutes from Changi Airport. Besides, Langkawi Island also belongs to a southern island which enjoys a lot of tourist activity. It is mostly deserted with little access for tourists.
The island area is well known to the beach-going crowd, as well as diving enthusiasts and snorkelers. Take an elevator to the Gunung Mat Chinchang mountains and walk over the sky bridge. The raised walkway allows the visitor a closer view of the captivating rainforest.
17. Johor Bahru – Explore The Ancient Temples

18. Perhentian Island – For Its Pristine Beaches
It is a very different way of travelling from Singapore to Malaysia. Located in Besut district of Malayasia the Perhentian island comprises a collection of beautiful islands. This beautiful beach is one of the best spots for exploring this area.
These resorts are famous for dives and snorkels with many of them very popular diving places. It is possible to learn to fish for very cheap cost.
19. Borneo – Visit Oldest Rainforests
Do you remember where Singapore was located? Borneo is about 3-hour flight from Singapore, whereas Indonesia is divided into three parts namely Indonesia. You may not know this fact, but Borneo hosts one of the earliest rainforests and this rainforest houses various animal species including Borneo orangutans. Those who like fauna should take a walk through the sanctuaries here, so you can view apes from a distance.
20. Tioman Island, Malaysia
Why visit Maldives? This is ideal for aquatic activities like swimming, snorkeling and swimming. The island is surrounded by beautiful corals and the site also offers dozens of dive sites like Chebeh Island and the Malang Rock.
The tourists first visit beaches – they get a good number! Popular ABC beaches Genting Mayara Nipah Salang. Oh yeah, and does Tioman have dutyfree zones? It's the perfect time to buy a bag full of batik and chocolate products.
21. Phuket, Thailand
How can one travel from Bangkok to Phuket? There is so much to love here in South Thailand. Expect exciting water activities, delicious cuisine, lively nightlife and spectacular nightlife. Are you interested and adventurous?
Take speedboat tours to Phi islands nearby zip-line through jungle or climb to Khao Rang Mountain to have amazing views over the island. We recommend visiting Phuket Old Town to experience Thai-Chinese Peranakan culture. There are numerous cafés, restaurants and snacks here.
22. Yangon, Myanmar
Myanmar (formerly Myanmar) is less than three days flight from Singapore. Despite its highly exoteric beauty these destinations are generally undiscovered by western visitors. It's filled with temples and pagodas and its most blingest is Shwedasgon Pagoda.
The structure contains almost 4500 diamonds including the 72-carat megadiam. Sule Pagoda has a gold coating compared to the Diamond Pavgoda. 23. Chiang Mai – To Relax And Unwind
Chiangmai is an ancient mountain town in Thailand. Established in 1296. It is renowned for its history as a religious centre and is an ideal place to visit during a brief visit from Singapore. Visit elephant sanctuary, forests and waterfalls, as well as rustic temples. Definitely an excellent way of relaxing. Where can you eat?
24. Hong Kong – A Lively City
It must be an excellent city near Singapore. Hongkong is a vibrant, cultural Asian megacity. The best places to visit is to visit various restaurants. Taste street food, gorgeous dumpling dishes and visit OZONE Bar, which is the highest bar in the world.
Alternatively enjoy a ferry ride, tram, cable car ride and visit Victoria Peak in the city. Another reason Hong Kong is a great destination to visit from Singapore is the sightseeing options and beach explorations.
25. Busan, South Korea
Why should we go here? This place's more remote than most and is incredibly picturesque. Definitely fresh fish and quiet streets with more beaches. The Gamcheong Cultural Village has an iconic row of colourful homes carved into a hill which is one must-see. Walk the streets to see vibrant artwork, charming cafes, and charming boutiques.
To find authentic street foods it's imperative to go to the Haeundae Market. It's filled with kimpas, fishcake skewers, and stuffed with rice cake. It's also advisable to eat seafood in the evening. Visit restaurants such as Daengyamanchan for seafood dishes, crab and other.
26. Koh Samui – Perfect For A Short Getaway
Koh Samui is home to gorgeous private beaches, vibrant street markets, charming landmarks, tranquil temples and buzzing beach clubs. Koh Samui which is known for its classy beach clubs, luxury villas, white-sand beaches, and turquoise water. Along with this, the place also offers some amazing activities for people.
27. Macau Heritage Center – For A Mixed Culture
Make sure you take in both the glitzy Cotai Strip of casinos and the old Macau Heritage Center. Cotai Strip has a lot of resorts, casinos, shows, malls, restaurants and clubs while the Macau Heritage Center has Portuguese influence with Senado Square, St Paul's church, and Guia Fortress.
